Refund policy

1. Overview

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from MotoXtreme. If for any reason you’re not satisfied, you may request a return or exchange in accordance with the terms below.

2. Returns for Change of Mind / Unused Items

  • You may return most items within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange.
  • Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with all tags and labels still attached.
  • A valid proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
  • Please return items directly to MotoXtreme — do not send them back to the manufacturer.

3. Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • If your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect, please contact our Customer Service team within 30 days of receipt at sales@motoxtreme.co.uk.
  • We will advise how to return the item and may provide a prepaid returns label where appropriate.
  • Refunds for faulty or incorrect goods will be processed once inspected and approved, and we will refund any reasonable postage costs.
  • Refunds are made to your original payment method.

4. Non-Returnable Items / Exclusions

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Used or worn items.
  • Custom-made or personalised products.
  • Items clearly marked as non-returnable on the product page.
  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty).

5. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us at sales@motoxtreme.co.uk or call 01225 892227 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
  2. Include your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  3. Once approved, you’ll receive our returns address and instructions.
  4. Unless the return is due to our error, return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  5. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.

6. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm eligibility and process your refund to the original payment method.
  • Refunds typically take 5–10 working days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
  • If you prefer an exchange (e.g. a different size or colour), please specify this when you contact us — we’ll do our best to arrange it promptly.

7. Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Safety equipment such as helmets, goggles, boots, body armour, or other protective gear.
    For safety reasons, these items must be completely unused and in their original sealed packaging. Once opened, they cannot be returned unless faulty.
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Items returned outside the stated 30-day period without prior approval.

Where applicable, a deduction may be made from your refund to reflect any loss in value.

8. Restocking & Condition Checks

Returned items must be in resaleable condition — clean, unused, with all tags attached and packaging intact. MotoXtreme reserves the right to refuse or reduce a refund if the item is returned in a condition that does not meet these requirements.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your order will apply to that purchase.

10. Gift Cards

  • Gift Cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • There is no expiry date — your Gift Card can be redeemed at any time for products available on our website.
  • Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase additional Gift Cards.
